Welcome to the Afternoon Program

We are committed to offering students an appropriate supplementary program outside the regular school timetable that promotes and develops academic and social skills and supports educational work beyond the classroom.

After regular school hours, we offer a variety of courses that encourage students’ various talents and interests. These include numerous offerings in the areas of language, art, music, sports, technology, science, games, and much more. Due to our special role as a German educational institution in Korea’s cultural and social life, we also offer Korean language courses, archery, taekwondo, traditional drumming, and similar activities.

Primary School (Grades 1 – 4)

Primary school classes end after the 5th period (12:35 p.m.). Following this, students have the opportunity to take a break, enjoy lunch, read in the library, or play in the schoolyard. The primary school’s full-day courses begin in the 7th period and continue until the 9th period. To provide students with clearer structure, the daily schedule remains nearly the same every day.

Secondary School (Grades 5 – 12)

At the secondary level, students are provided with lunchtime services as well as library and playground supervision during the 7th period. Full‑day courses begin in the 8th period and conclude after the 11th period. Owing to varying timetables, greater flexibility is provided to meet students’ preferences when choosing courses.

Our language program focuses primarily on three main languages: German, English, and Korean. The program covers the entire spectrum from beginners to native speakers. The language programs are voluntary.
