Welcome to the Administration Team

The administration of the German School Seoul International (DSSI) is responsible for the organizational and administrative tasks that ensure the smooth operation of the school.

The administration team ensures that all operational processes are carried out efficiently and professionally. The team’s core responsibilities include school administration, organizing finances and resources, coordinating personnel matters, and supporting daily school operations. The team works closely with the school administration, teachers, parents, and the board to promote a positive learning environment and meet DSSI’s high standards.

Responsibilities

Student administration: This includes admissions, deregistration, and the issuing of certificates, as well as maintaining student records.
First aid: We ensure that prompt and competent assistance is available in the event of an emergency.
Reporting to the authorities: We handle communication with the German and Korean authorities and ensure the necessary reporting.
Finance and Resources: The administration is responsible for organizing financial resources and ensures the efficient use of resources necessary for school operations.
Personnel Matters: We coordinate administrative tasks related to teaching and administrative staff, including managing personnel files, contracts, and employment matters.
School Events: We assist in the planning and implementation of events that enrich school life.
Building Management and Construction: The administration is responsible for the care and maintenance of school buildings, as well as organizing construction projects and renovations.
Marketing and Communications: We manage the school’s external image and communication with the general public.
IT and Technical Support: We ensure that the school’s IT infrastructure functions at all times and that the technical needs of school operations are met.
Cafeteria and School Bus: Organizing the canteen and school buses is also part of our responsibilities.
