Welcome to the Parents’ Association

A Strong Community – Growing Together, Being Strong Together!

Our Parents’ Association is about more than just supporting our school and kindergarten. We are a dedicated group of parents, in which everyone can contribute their individual talents and strengths.

We come closer together through a variety of activities for all ages.

From exciting projects to thrilling events, there’s something for everyone, and best of all, we have a lot of fun! Not only does every child grow, but so does the bond between parents, students, and school – side by side, full of enthusiasm and joy for a bright future. Become a part of our community!

Immerse yourself in the vibrant heart of our school community! Our school’s Parent Initiative organizes numerous unforgettable events, enriches school life and strengthens the community. Look forward to our highlights such as the Christmas market, our Spring Festival with volleyball tournament and more.

Thanks to the dedicated participation of our parents, the list of activities is constantly growing. Be part of our vibrant community and enjoy the unforgettable moments we strive to create together.

The Parent Representative Council currently consists of:

Nicole Berger-Gröning (Chair)
Giuseppina Milton Martins (Deputy Chair)
Alexandra Greth (Chair of Kindergarten)

Together, we are committed to a school that promotes development, cultural understanding, and a sense of community. As mediators between parents, school administration, and the board, we value openness, dialogue, and a solution-oriented approach. Our work is invaluable in building a relationship based on trust and constructive collaboration. Through close collaboration, we achieve great things for our children, parents, and our DSSI community. Become part of our parent representative council and actively shape your children’s school.

City & Culture Explorers is a DSSI parent initiative that regularly organizes special excursions in and around Seoul for parents from kindergarten up through secondary school. Our tours lead to hidden gems, cultural highlights, or cozy cafes, offering the opportunity to discover new things together and chat in a relaxed atmosphere. Whether it’s a walk through a Hanok village, a visit to a market, or a short museum tour, there’s always something exciting to do with us. Invitations to the excursions are regularly sent via IServ and class chats. If you are interested in our tours, please write to us at cnce@dssi.online.
