At DSSI, German‑speaking children are taught in Grades 1 to 12. Our students come from families involved in German, Korean, and international companies, organisations, and diplomatic missions based in Korea. The school is a officially recognised German School Abroad and administers the German International Abitur examination at the end of Grade 12.
The German School Seoul International offers teachers a pleasant and varied working environment. Children of professionals from German and international companies and diplomatic missions, as well as German‑speaking children from Korea, are taught both in the kindergarten and in grades 1 to 12. The languages of instruction are German and, from grade 8 onwards, English in the subjects of Chemistry, Geography, and History. Class sizes currently range from 11 to 22 students in the primary level and from 8 to 17 students in the secondary levels.
DSSI also offers internships. If you are interested in supporting our team as an intern, please send your application documents to praktika@dsseoul.org. Please note that all internship positions for the 2025/26 school year have already been filled.
